Graduate courses and research opportunities are available in occupational biomechanics and ergonomics.
This is especially relevant for resource-rich Western Australia where the health and safety of employees is a major issue.
The Faculty has introduced a graduate diploma in Occupational Safety and Health which will satisfy the skills requirements for membership to relevant professional bodies, as well as articulating with Master of Science by research programs.
Our research opportunities will include issues related to manual handling, overuse syndrome, environmental tolerance, ergogenic aids, arousal and stress.
