Biomechanics laboratories

Sports motion analysis laboratory

  • 385 square meters with high roof, mobile gantry and large opening door to grassed 125 x 95 meter oval,
  • Vicon MX 3D motion analysis system with 12 Vicon 1000Hz near-infrared M2 camera's,
  • Two in-floor force plates (1 AMTI and 1 Kistler),
  • Ten channel umbilical cord EMG system,
  • Biodex Isokinetic Dynamometer.

Clinical motion Aaalysis laboratory

  • Size - 170 square meters,
  • Vicon MX 3D motion analysis system with 7 Vicon 1000Hz near-infrared MX camera's,
  • Two in-floor force plates (AMTI),
  • 16 channel umbilical cord EMG system,
  • Biodex Isokinetic Dynamometer.

Biomechanics computing equipment

  • High speed workstations with automatic data backup,
  • Software including: SiliconCoach, SIMM Musculoskeletal Modeling, SDFast Dynamical Mechanical Systems Modeling, Vicon Bodybuilder, Vicon Polygon, MatLab, Labview, MS Visual C++, MS Fortran 90, and 3D MRI/CT Scan Analysis software.

Additional biomechanics research and teaching equipment

  • Peak Motus motion analysis system with 2 Peak 200hz video cameras,
  • Two real-time ultrasound imaging for muscle morphometry and analysis,
